During the pandemic, many of us have had time to think about what’s right and what’s wrong with society as we know it. This time of reflection led me to a really simple idea – women helping women through the power of the purse!
The idea: women giving preference to other women when spending money on services, products and entertainment.

Whenever you can, pick a woman to be your doctor, lawyer, accountant, dentist, veterinarian, relator, hairdresser, therapist, trainer. . .
Think WOMEN when you think of services you need. #powerofthepurse
POWER OF THE PURSE – PRODUCTS
Whenever you can, support companies run by women executives with women board board members; buy your vehicles and appliances from women sales personnel; buy your clothing from women who design and make them; buy your food from women cooperatives and farmers; buy your household goods, skin care, and beauty products from women owned companies, etc. . ..think women when you think of companies to support and products to buy.
Think WOMEN when you need products. #powerofthepurse
ENTERTAINMENT – whenever you can, watch movies, TV, and live theater with performances about women, staring women, written, produced and directed by women; buy and read books written by women and about women; support women’s sports, support and laugh with women comedians; buy art from women; go to concerts of women artists, support women owned restaurants, bakeries, bars and bistros.
